Today for something I stumbled upon in the web for making money in Second Life is a video from SLBuilding.com. They have bunch of building tutorials on their site but there’s one video that caught my interest, their tips on how do you make money in Second Life.

I actually learned something from it. Especially the First Land where you can buy cheap land from Linden Lab themselves for like 512sqm. for just 512L$ lindens. So instead of me babbling more about it, just check it out.

thanks for the details! oh well.. no more first land. so it's all auction now then.

First land was discontinued over a year ago. Was being gamed big time. Either abused by large numbers of accounts owned by a single person, or those looking to flip land and take advantage of newer users lack of knowledge were causing the service to be used far from as intended.

Well I thought that the First Land event was disabled from lindenlab befre some time, atleast Ive found that on forums.

Actually, if you can make at least 2800L$ linden dollars a month (9.99$ US monthly) you can get a premium account or at least 15,000L$ a year (72$ US yearly).

That's by converting your lindens to US and getting the premium.

It seems so, buaya. I checked the site once I found this out and it seems to point that you need to be a Premium Member to buy land. That's why it's not something that everyone can jump on.

I think it's mostly due to the fact that they may have to charge you for some money each month.

L$512 for a piece of land? That's a steal. But question is, must I have be a Premium member to evn take advantage of this offer?

Quids! Hahaha. Awesome. It's interesting to hear when you're so used to seeing "dollars" everywhere.

I never knew about the land thing either. Of course, that's not an opportunity that everyone can take... Some other parts of it are actually fairly helpful in the business direction too.
