GPB has become a High Risk investment. Shares are being traded in packets of 10.000 and even more.
Within a month, the quarterly interest payment is coming within a month and if the yield is like the management promised, 3% at a face value of L$1.00, then the dividend payout should be promising.
If you are a high risk investor. Do buy the share, if you want to play safe. Then ignore it.
Would you risk a few bucks?
I can see that GPB’s stocks are cheap with a target price of 0.07L$ per share. Bob Perry already bought 400,000 shares of from this high risk investment and it seems that the move are getting some criticisms. In my opinion, since the shares are so cheap, I’ll be willing to risk some of my money. 5000L$ linden dollars is already 70,000+ shares from GPB. Months ago, I lost 50,000L$ from the Ginko Bank which was converted to 50,000 shares. I was able to recover 25,000L$ from that disaster and now, it seems that in 5000L$ investment, I even got more share than before.
However, it’s a risk I am taking. If it’s true that Nicholas Portocarrero, CEO of Ginko, will be paying dividends within the month, just as what Geyl Fapp said, this will be promising. If not, it’s okay. At least I tried and see what I can earn from this.
Only for those who have extra
Personally, I don’t recommend investing in GPB even if I did bought a few shares. I only did it because I have extra money and I am testing out what I can gain from this. If you have extra lindens, then go if you want to. If you’re really budgeting your money, then don’t buy shares. This is a high risk investment because of how shaky Ginko can get.
Been there, done that. Well, I watched it happen with my partner. He invested in companies and played the stock, but when Ginko and AVIX went down, we pulled out. We still have shares in Ginko, and they may just continue to sit there. Oh well. :|
I'm always up for some high-risk investments. Gotta play to win I always say. Diversifying is the key just like in RL. Spread it around, some high-risk some medium and some low.

I checked my stocks. Apparently, GPB wasn't one of the companies that were wiped out. The figures are still there and hasn't changed since I bought the shares.

That is why you have join slam-x ;-)

That is if u are able to accept the loss. For the small-time investor we stake a lot of money into the shares, any loss hurts them a lot and set them back by a lot

I'm a resilient type of person. I can't stay sad. So, if ever I lost what I've invested through this, I'm sure I'll get over it.
It's just a matter of decision.

Lol an ADR just more than doubled its share price in 2 days around a few weeks ago, from what I've heard. Though I forgot the company name *.*

I guess it's bound to happen as stock exchange business is unpredictable.
It's all about timing...

Not really. From what I have seen so far, you could bully your way to riches, if you are rich and have a lot of influences to do so, at least in second life. It is not as unpredictable as people like to claim.

That is the dangerous part. I was a vertan of such sites and I have seen many hyip collasped after 1 or 2 round of payouts. And may hyip and pay to watever sites have payment problems even if they do pay out eventually. I just got my us$5 payout from a site which I have to wait for 3 mths after the owner had some problems in paying
I was checking my stocks on the different exchanges of Second Life– SLCAPEX and WSE. Then I noticed this Analyst Report from Geyl Fapp regarding GPB (Ginko Financial Bonds).
