Wicked Blog Contest – Win 5,000L$ linden dollars this October 2007

  • Do you like this?

It’s another month and a new contest from Chino Yray Dot Com. That means another 5000L$ lindens to one of my readers! However, this time it will be different and a lot easier for the lazy people.

How to join

Just subscribe through email. Easy right? All you have to do is subscribe and it entitles you 1 entry to the contest. However, only 1 email per avatar since I don’t want people cheating.

Why subscribe through email?

This is how it works. I get all the email subscribers from October 1 to 31 by the end of the month and I’ll pick one winner through that. The winner will then be emailed that he/she won and will be asked to confirm.

Get more entries

Now I have another option as well for those who doesn’t want to subscribe through email and also, this one will be equivalent to 2 entries. How to earn 2 entries? (See, you can have 3 entries!)

Write about this contest in your blog. Link to my Free Lindens page using the anchor text “free lindens”, put the email subscription link and link to this contest post.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Chino Yray dot com, a blog that helps you earn free linden dollars is giving away L$5,000 linden dollars! To enter, just subscribe to his blog here or earn more entries by writing about his contest as well. Now give me the money!

Deadline

The deadline for entries is October 31, 2007. On November 2, (well since most probably I’m in a cemetery by Nov. 1) I will collate all the email (1 entry) from the subscribers list and the names of those who wrote about the contest (2 entries). That person will win 10,000L$ worth of prizes! This contest is open to anyone, anywhere in the world (as long as you have a blog and a Second Life account).

Non-English blogs are accepted as well, as long as they link correctly. The links are important!

    @blogOloco

the linden thing is the money in Second Life. :) And this virtual money has a relative value in the real life.

Wow, Chino, I think you need to see a doctor. You are so generous that you are giving away about us$30 to just get people to post a comment in your blog. That is a significant chunk, considering that your earning from the blog is only a few hundreds us dollar, not a few thosuand us dollar

Well if he’s crazy, then, continue being crazy Chino (lol).

It helps his website traffic. But even if he doesn’t give out money, I’m sure people will still come. His site is very informative.

My name is Ahkums Razor. I was born into Second Life October 15, 2007. I am one week old. Second Life is awesome! It’s difficult to explain to people what SL is. The company line leaves folks sort of blinking and nodding their head as if they kinda get it. You know the one: “Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely created by its Residents.”

What is Second life? SL is experimentation, it’s freedom, it’s creative expression, it’s technical muscle flexing, it’s socializing, it’s community, it’s entrepreneurship, it’s fun!

So here’s to your Second Life… see you on the grid!

    Rez-pecfully Yours,
    Ahkums Razor

After a month of living in SL with no lindens in my virtual pocket, i found that such way of “limited” living is causing me to loose my interest. A money injection of 5000 L$ would be fantastic motive to start thinking different.

You know, giving away money like this is incredibly helpful to those of us with no payment info…maybe you should hold contests for vapid things as well, like n00b makeovers. We tend to like the vapid things…but you’ve been greatly helpful so far. Thanks a ton!

Don’t depend on contests to support your SL living. The contests are only here to add a spark to your SL life. Be creative on your avatars… I’ve bought a grand total of 1 skin…ever. Not because I can’t afford any, it’s because I don’t like buying too much things that will eventually end up in the junk corner. I’ve designed my avatar’s face and many people say it looks really kawaii. =3
