Winner of 1000L$ for Top Commentator

  • Do you like this?

As promised yesterday, I’ll be giving 1000L$ to my Top Commentator today. Right now, it’s pretty obvious who will win the 1000L$ and I am very impressed. Only a few spam and all discussion reply.

Kudos to:

Trebuchet Bracken

You’ll get the 1000L$ for this week.

Returning to regular weekly contest

Now that I can do this thing regularly again, I’m back to giving 500L$ every week for my Top Commentator every week. Spam away! I mean, comments away!

Wow! I’ve be de-throned in a major way. Last night I was thinking, I need to get on Chino’s blog and check on my Commentator ranking. But I never got to it. Now I’m glad I didn’t try to go head to head with Trebuchet Bracken (72) or Suki Hirano (55). I would have been up all night composing blog entries!

Congratulations Trebuchet. You definitely deserve to be Top Commentator this week.

And Chino, you should throw Suki a bone for a valiant effort!

It was still lovely commenting with you throughout the week on the various entries, Ahkums, and I continue to look forward to it.

Lol I stopped trying to post after Trebuchet went on a commenting rampage by herself for half an hour while I was doing some work. There’s simply no point as whoever gets the most posts before Chino announces the winner wins. You can have 0 posts right now and 100 posts the next hour. It’s all luck =P

I was doing homework periodically, as well, and I might also note that you, too, went through many of the back posts and replied. But, oh well. I admit to wanting the prize very much, but I was also interested in what past information there was, just as you probably were.

Ummm, my last name is chosen to correspond with my partner’s in SL. And I do not see any information about ‘love of rizal’. In fact… my last name has to do more with a fern.

Pardon the late response; lot of things have happened to me since the day of award.

Thank you, Chino, not only for providing this opportunity, but for this wonderful wealth of information. Going back through the posts, I did get to see it is more than advertising and money- you presented human matters, such as the real meaning behind Halloween and your own relationship. That is what really keeps me interested and shows that you are not just a business man.

Having only been making comments for the last couple of weeks, it has been as much fun reading the comments as the stories themselves. Its exactly what I needed since I have been having a tough time finding new material lately to work with in SL.

Actually, there is actually more materials for second life you could ever hope to find in this site. That is if you are willing to explore and goggle more.

But I agree chino site is a good starting point for newbies and veterans player alike.

Right off the bat, all the information that has been shared has been great and the general population on the site has been helpful. I hope to lend more input of my own too, and hope its worth the time I put into offering it.

You could follow the example of chino and start your own blog. Maybe you can win the $8,000 chino is offering to blog owner and maybe get some money from the ads to fund your second life adventures.

I have yet to start my own as of now, but I appreciate every opportunity listed here and hope to use this blog for a long time coming.

I’m sorry, I could have worded that better. I do not have a blog. Though it is an option that I may consider, I only mean to put value in this one at this time.

A question about second life: I saw in the sys req that wireless internet and satellite internet are not compatible. yet i’m on a wireless satellite connection and it’s working. extremely slow with a crazy amount of lag, yet working.

Just realizing that SL can be bandwith hog, I’m sure their basis is on the relative slow connection using these broadband services. Not always true.
My laptop is poor at best at rendering 3d graphics, and would be considered incompatible. But if I set to a very low resolution I can get a poor picture for example….not worth playing really, but it works

Oh, and my question was, is there any way that these could have cancelled each other out? Dumb, I know, but there’s gotta be a reason…
