Search on the same page! No more Google page, hello Live Search.

  • Do you like this?

It may look like I am bitter with what happened to my PageRank, but yes! I am bitter! LOL. Anyway, on a serious note, since the Google search here on my blog doesn’t function well because it displays its results on a new page (google hosted), I found a new search widget that will let you search ChinoYray Dot Com without leaving the page you are currently reading.

Say Hi to the Live Search Box

Live Search Box on Chino Yray Dot Com

I write my blog posts using Windows Live Writer, I check and send email through Windows Live Mail, I chat with my friends through Windows Live Messenger, so why not search in my blog using Windows Live Search? It looks cool on my blog and the color blends with my theme.

Best thing with this new search widget is, oooops I think I already said that it won’t forward you to a new page. Anyway, test it out just on the upper right corner of my blog.

Good for you. The logic is impeccable. It should work.

What’s the diference between Windows Live Mail (old Homail) and live.com, Chino?

My pagerank dropped to 0 last November but life goes on. You can always apply to get it back and that’s what I’ll be doing. I’ll just have to wait a few days more to do it.

Google has been targeting PPP and Text Link Ads for sometime now and if I’ve learned about it sooner then I would have avoided such services.

The sad thing is Google isn’t fair. High profile blogs weren’t hit that hard. They mostly went after the little blogs. They are like bullies picking on little kids. :(

As I have mentioned before, while Google does have a feel-good attitude, it is ultimately a large corporation that may have a balloon head now. Its original creators are no longer on the front lines working through the fine details; there are guidelines to follow, and unless you are big, you probably will not get slack, so to speak.

Live has been a good utility as a whole. I like the map features too, which have shown some up to date satellite photos of my house which is cool.

Are you referring Google Earth? I love that, because it shows a lot of places in world and has a lot of useful information. There you can find any place or route that you want.

I love Google earth too. Sometimes I just browse around and look at interesting cities.

When i talk with a person using internet, in Sl or any other kind of chat and the person tell me where he/she is. Sometimes i use Google Earth to know more about his/her place.

I love to meet people from other countries… :D

That is handy to know; it does blend right in and looks really sharp when one does notice it. I do not often search, but again, it should be helpful, should I have need of it.

It looks good Chino. I’m not a real fan of Live but then I haven’t really given it much time. I’m a Google nut.

I don’t like the search result provided by live. It is kena of screw up. Even some of the less-know search engine can return better result than live
