Earlier, Blizzard Entertainment had a press release with the title: BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT® AND LEGENDARY PICTURES SIGN SAM RAIMITO DIRECT UPCOMING WARCRAFT® MOVIE
To quote from the WoW website:
We’re pleased to announce that Sam Raimi, famed director of the blockbuster Spider-Man series, has signed on to bring the forces of the Horde and the Alliance to life on the big screen in the upcoming live-action film based on the Warcraft universe. I can imagine now how a great storyline will fit into a movie. I wonder too who the cast will be.
